Titan - Atlas 400 - Atlas 700 - Atlas 851 - Atlas 895
The Titan series has several advantages over conventional control systems. It is capable of performing the functions of several different control devices. In a conventional system, a thermostat maintains temperature while a separate humidistat controls humidity and controlling room pressure and plenum pressure requires another separate controller for each space. The Titan series controller combines all of these functions into one unit; saving initial costs on equipment installation and greatly simplifying the troubleshooting process.
The Titan controller requires only a single pair of control wires to each piece of ventilation equipment. The two-conductor wiring is daisy chained from piece to piece to allow for a lower cost installation. Most other control systems require up to nine control wires routed to each piece of equipment.
It is also a smart control that utilizes true PID (proportional–integral–derivative), step programming and night time setback, saving money and labor hours. A conventional control requires a manual adjustment every time an adjustment needs to be made and runs 24 hours a day at a preset condition. The Titan controller can be set to make the appropriate changes upon initial setup and will automatically adjust for night time operation and step programming.
The Atlas 400 variable speed fan controller is capable of controlling multiple fans from a single controller. It works in conjunction with the Titan room controller. A keypad allows address, default fan speed, and communication mode changes. A single Atlas 400 control has the ability to control multiple fans simultaneously on one zone and is held within a NEMA 4X enclosure.
The Atlas 700 controller is a standalone solid-state humidity control that maintains room humidity in critical areas. It has two normally open outputs for opening a solenoid valve or an analog signal for modulating output. Several humidifiers may be controlled simultaneously when the Atlas 700 is connected to an interface panel. It uses a solid-state sensor to detect changes in relative humidity to within one percent.
The Atlas 851 Controller is a standalone solid-state modulating damper control that maintains room pressure in critical areas. The controller provides a 2-10VDC signal for driving return and fresh air dampers in make-up air units (also available in a floating-point damper controller in the Atlas 850 model). Several sets of dampers may be controlled from a single Atlas 851. Changes in differential pressure is detected to within one thousandth of an inch.
The Atlas 895 controller is an independent solid-state device that controls variable speed fans in rooms and plenums. A precise pressure sensor constantly monitors differential pressure and relays the values to a microprocessor. If current pressure is beyond control parameters, it will increase or decrease the speed of an exhaust fan to bring the area pressure within control limits. The intuitive design creates an easy to use interface for programming and monitoring.
